About Us
Dancer's Gallery offers a quality dance program built on strong technique while fostering artistic
growth. With a diverse curriculum covering multiple dance genres, dedicated students have the
opportunity to become well-rounded professional dancers. Emphasizing the art of dance over mere
routines, the program instills proper training, etiquette, and discipline to provide a solid foundation.
Aerial Silks Classes
An aerial silks class is an acrobatic training that involves
suspending oneself from fabric hanging from the ceiling.
Students use their strength, flexibility, and balance to climb,
wrap, twist, and drop from the silks. The class starts with
warm-up and conditioning exercises to build strength and
flexibility before moving on to learning basic climbing
techniques, holds, and poses.
As students progress, they learn more advanced sequences and aerial tricks. This class
is a fun and challenging workout that builds confidence and body awareness while
learning a unique skill.
Ballet / Pointe Dance Classes
Ballet is a classical dance form that typically involves a structured series
of exercises and movements that focus on developing proper technique,
posture, and alignment.
The technique involves a strict adherence to posture, turnout, pointe
work, and a range of other movements and positions executed with
precision and control.
The class is led by a trained ballet instructor and typically begins with a
warm-up, followed by barre and center exercises, and finishes with a
cool-down.
Ballet has evolved into sub-genres like romantic, classical, contemporary, and
neoclassical. Our classes, set to classical music, require DG ballet attire and shoes.
Ballet/Tap Combination
A ballet and tap combination class for 2-4 year olds is a fun-filled and dynamic class that
incorporates the fundamentals of both ballet and tap dancing.
The class introduces young dancers to basic dance movements and techniques through
creative and age-appropriate exercises, games, and activities.
Children will develop their motor skills, confidence, and coordination while learning how to
move to music.
The ballet portion of the class will focus on developing grace, poise, posture, and flexibility
whereas the tap portion will emphasize rhythm, timing, and coordination of feet. Through
imaginative play and exploration, young dancers will be introduced to the joy of dance in a safe
and nurturing environment.
Contemporary Dance Classes
Contemporary dance is an expressive art form that incorporates a
range of movement styles and techniques, often drawing
inspiration from ballet, modern dance, and improvisation.
It often explores deeply personal themes through fluid,
intricate movements, and striking body shapes, blurring the
lines between traditional and experimental forms of dance.
The genre is constantly evolving, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in dance
and inviting audiences to experience new and exciting forms of expression.
Hip – Hop Dance Classes
Hip hop dance is a popular and cultural street dance style involving a combination of
various dance forms such as breaking, popping, locking and house dance.
Dancers will learn precision, agility, creativity and immense body control. Hip hop is
often performed to hip hop music, and the dance movements are energetic, fluid, and
full of attitude.
After School Program

Monday to Friday from 2:30–6:30 pm, with no sessions on school holidays, including winter
and spring breaks, though full-day camps are available for an additional fee.
