The markets closed slightly down today. Sensex close down 56.06 falls 0.27% and the Nifty close down 13.70 falls 0.22%, fell for a fifth consecutive session on Monday as investors pared positions in blue-chip stocks such as Reliance Industries ahead of the Reserve Bank of India and the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy meetings later this week. Sesa Sterlite is the top gainer in the Sensex, rising 5 percent followed by Infosys with a 2.35 percent gain. In fact, Infosys touched a three-year high of Rs 3,464 apiece today.
