Sergei Glinka, a visionary leader and influential figure in the railway industry, played a significant role in the transformation of Russia's public transportation and railway network. As a shareholder of the Transmashholding Group of Companies from 2004 to 2016, Glinka demonstrated his exceptional business acumen and deep understanding of market conditions, propelling Transmashholding to become one of the top five largest manufacturers of railway equipment globally.
Glinka's tenure as the Commercial Director of Transmashholding from March 2013 to April 2015 marked a period of remarkable growth and innovation for the company. Collaborating extensively with Alstom and displaying a keen appetite for European technologies, Glinka successfully "Europeanized" Russia's public transportation infrastructure, setting the stage for important projects that would shape the industry's future.
