Developed samples and patterns for collections (both live and in Photoshop). Prepared delicate crochet work on swimsuits for London Fashion Week women's show, keeping in mind demands of factory production. Took part in creating a dress for the Woolmark Competition, combining 3d crochet and lacing techniques using thick and thin yarns. The Collection, London, UK, Internship Oct 2013 - Nov 2013 Assisted designers in all stages of garments creation (the design, print, pattern cutting, and sewing), as a pattern cutter and a seamstress. Created dresses for Marni, Valentino and Moschino using different types of materials (chiffon, satin, silk, denim, laces, taffeta, jersey, velvet, leather, organza, light and heavy weight crepe de chine) and different sewing techniques (plain seams, French seams, flat seams, lapped seams, top stiches, finishing stiches). Mastered hand embroidery with sequins, lace, beads, and by using the sewing machine with free-needle technique.
- 2. 2 Knit-1,Brighton, UK, Internship Sep 2013 – Oct 2013 Helped create samples for the “Indigo” Exhibition (Paris). Knitting and preparation of samples, including making full fashion details; calculating patterns; steaming; edges, neck and armhole finishing on the sewing machine; shaping darts and binding. Worked with different types of yarn (silk, mohair, lurex, rayon, wool). Mastered the Knitting Yoke, pointelle, patchwork on the domestic machine, jacquard knitting with frequent replacement of colour yarn, circle knitting of biding, pleats, different variations of ribs, zigzag, dragon stich, knitting cables, holding cambs, intarsia. Mastered embroidery techniques (machine embroidery, cross stich, "Free Style" hand embroidery, beads, ribbon embroidery, embroidery on chiffon with mohair, embroidery on denim and knitwear).
