As you will note from my enclosed CV, I am a graduated of Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh on Quantity Surveying. During my education, I have been involved in various projects, such as a measurement of big commercial building drawings in Qatar. Currently, I take part in the design and the preparation of cost planning of a new Hotel, and also the refurbishment of existing offices in the City Center of Edinburgh. Through my courses, I have developed a familiar knowledge about the cost estimate, and that reason becomes my strong skill
Moreover, during my studies in Cyprus, I participated in three seminars of RICS. The first was about “Real Estate and Valuation Development” and the two others, were about “Zero Energy Performance for Domestic and non Domestic properties”.
Furthermore, I undertook work experience from a contractor company in Cyprus, and this work experience has taught me valuable workplace skills and also enhances me with strong knowledge about construction technology. Also, I learn how to be a team member, managing different priorities, manage my time well, the ability to work under pressure, the ability to tailor my message to the audience and listening to the views of others, building positive working relationships that helps everyone to achieve goals, work efficiently and productively, and organization about showing that I can prioritize.
I am now aiming for a job position in Quantity Surveying for 2016 to expand my knowledge in real
practice, and i am open for any countries, at least to follow my passion, so to become a world wide accredited Quantity Surveyors.
For any jobs related to my subject area, please don't hesitate to contact me.

EIRINI MARINAKI
Amaltheias 35 Sarakina, Rethymnon 74100
+491590289755 eirini19m@hotmail.com
Bristol, 16.12.2015
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Irene Marinaki and I graduate from the Technological Educational Institute of Crete,
Department of Civil Engineering.
During my studies I focused mainly on the design of renewable energy systems, materials
behaviour under certain conditions, the load calculation for metal and concrete structures and
infrastructure projects. I worked as an assistant in the Strength of materials, Hydraulic and
Thermodynamics laboratory of my university. During my internship in Italy I took part in
bioclimatic and engineering systems research.
I have a strong desire to build my career and enrich my knowledge in the Engineering industry.
I am living in UK and I am willing to travel in order to improve my qualification, my ideas, learn
new cultures and become a “multi-culti” engineer. My main objective is to have a career which I
love and keep my heart forever evolving, young and creative and on this way be a valuable
inspired team player who will act as a driving force for the evolution of your company
I consider myself to be a hardworking team player, athletic and outgoing individual who is
enthusiastic and willing to learn. My work experience within other companies has given me the
opportunity to expand my knowledge even more in communication, flexibility, attention to detail,
integrity and honesty, while at the same time gaining a lot of experience of working under
demanding and time-limited projects. Moreover, I like to think outside the box and I am
generally open to new challenges. Such challenges I believe can be found within your
company.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
Marinaki Irene, BSc Civil Engineer
