 During the seasonal breaks I worked in the restaurant as a waiting person helping with
customer relations and food service. I was also taught by Mr. Rangroo with aspects of
hospitality, table setting, food service and front of house cash handling.

 For the duration of the internship Mrs. Shetty gave me guidance and shared her
knowledge of design and computer works. I worked under her to complete project
drawings for the Mokilla housing scheme. Time management, adhering to deadlines,
computer skills and engaging with other staff were some of the expertise I acquired.

 This experience came about during leaving certificate which allowed to choose work
experience in the profession which interested us most. Through this experience Mr.
Maughan eased me into the work he does and allowed me to assist him in hand
drawings and I lent a hand in the early stages of design with different drawing

 Analysis of street usage and human interactions and interactions with built form were
the parts of the research which interested me most. My main aim was to translate this
into a working urban public design.
