UNIVERSITY
In 2011-12 awarded UGC Emeritus Fellowship in Commerce & Management. In
1989, selected by the University Grants Commission for Lecture Cum Study
Program at Moscow Institute of Management, Moscow, USSR and Institute of
Finance, Leningrad. In 1991 presented paper on Non-inheritor Entrepreneur at
Nan yang Technological University, Singapore and in 1995 presented paper at
Southern Connecticut University, Connecticut, USA in addition to many papers
as per list in National conferences in India. Was Expert on different committees
of the UGC and the NAAC.
During 47th years of University teaching, served as Head and Dean for more
than 20 years and was always selected on all India basis(Not promotion)to
positions of Associate Professor and Professor.
First to develop and offer new courses like BBA,MFC and other job oriented
Diploma courses in Rajasthan state on self-sufficiency basis(Self financed )
which still fetch a revenue of Rs.10 million even today at Jai Narain Vyas
University ,Jodhpur.Was member of Finance Committee,Academic
Council,Senate and Syndicate for number of years.Organized more than 15
National and International Conferences, D.N.Elhance Memorial
Lectures,Workshop on Foreign Trade and Research Methodology.Guided 23
Ph.D. and guided hundreds of Project Reports and Term Papers. Was
nominated by the Government of Rajasthan as Member of Rajasthan
Secondary Board ,Ajmer and Member of Selection Committee of University at
Jodhpur.
Was always active in extra-curricular activities and served as Flt.Lt.NCC
Airwing for 20 years ,NSS Officer-National Service Scheme for 6 years,Rover
Scout Leader for 5 years and organized camps with 1000 students.Was
trained at Air Force College,Redfields,Coimbatore,Delhi School of Social
Work.Served students for all such extra-curricular activities. Conducted
students’ elections at University level.
Was in Deans’ Committee constituted by the Chancellor of Jai Narain
University,Jodhpur in 1995 which performed duties of Vice-Chancellor.
At present working as Senior Professor & Dean, School of Management, Sir
Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur.Recently University Management
deputed me to represent University at 4th Summer Exchange Program at Chiba
University of Commerce,Japan where 39 participants from 6 countries attended
.(July 2014 for 15 days and also at Czech Republic at Mendel University and
visited Budapest and Vienna also.

EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION : Group Study System has been initiated in BBA
Course where students/participants are divided into Groups who discuss the topic in
consultation with Group Members. Group Leader gives presentation. The entire
process is reviewed and then taught.
Group Assignment scheme has been introduced in BBA II where 5-6
students are given one topic for detailed preparation and Seminar. Other Group
Members have to defend at Seminar presentation and questions raised by other

1. Prof. Sushil J. Lalwani, Dean, School of Management was keynote
speaker at a Conference organized by Institute of Company Secretary
of India, Bhilwara chapter and MLS University, Udaipur. Title of his talk
was “Banking and Industrial Infrastructure in India”. The Conference
was inaugurated by Dr. C.P. Joshi, Minister, Government of India and
Prof. I.V. Trivedi, Vice-Chancellor, MLS University, Udaipur presided
over.

  • 1. 1 Profile OF PROF.SUSHIL J.LALWANI DEAN,SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT,SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY In 2011-12 awarded UGC Emeritus Fellowship in Commerce & Management. In 1989, selected by the University Grants Commission for Lecture Cum Study Program at Moscow Institute of Management, Moscow, USSR and Institute of Finance, Leningrad. In 1991 presented paper on Non-inheritor Entrepreneur at Nan yang Technological University, Singapore and in 1995 presented paper at Southern Connecticut University, Connecticut, USA in addition to many papers as per list in National conferences in India. Was Expert on different committees of the UGC and the NAAC. During 47th years of University teaching, served as Head and Dean for more than 20 years and was always selected on all India basis(Not promotion)to positions of Associate Professor and Professor. First to develop and offer new courses like BBA,MFC and other job oriented Diploma courses in Rajasthan state on self-sufficiency basis(Self financed ) which still fetch a revenue of Rs.10 million even today at Jai Narain Vyas University ,Jodhpur.Was member of Finance Committee,Academic Council,Senate and Syndicate for number of years.Organized more than 15 National and International Conferences, D.N.Elhance Memorial Lectures,Workshop on Foreign Trade and Research Methodology.Guided 23 Ph.D. and guided hundreds of Project Reports and Term Papers. Was nominated by the Government of Rajasthan as Member of Rajasthan Secondary Board ,Ajmer and Member of Selection Committee of University at Jodhpur. Was always active in extra-curricular activities and served as Flt.Lt.NCC Airwing for 20 years ,NSS Officer-National Service Scheme for 6 years,Rover Scout Leader for 5 years and organized camps with 1000 students.Was trained at Air Force College,Redfields,Coimbatore,Delhi School of Social Work.Served students for all such extra-curricular activities. Conducted students’ elections at University level. Was in Deans’ Committee constituted by the Chancellor of Jai Narain University,Jodhpur in 1995 which performed duties of Vice-Chancellor. At present working as Senior Professor & Dean, School of Management, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur.Recently University Management deputed me to represent University at 4th Summer Exchange Program at Chiba University of Commerce,Japan where 39 participants from 6 countries attended .(July 2014 for 15 days and also at Czech Republic at Mendel University and visited Budapest and Vienna also.

Carried out an extensive study into the Interrelationship between Wages, Labour Welfare and Productivity in Russian Industries., Had an exchange of ideas with Professors in USSR Worked as Professor & Dean : JNV University,Jodhpur 1991-1994,1994-1997,1999-2002, and 2002-2005. (Total 12 years) Executive & Academic Officer of the Faculty. Responsible for developing and monitoring research and Teaching programmes, Ph.D. guidance, Administrative and Educational assignment, Contributed many research papers.
