RESPONSIBILITES
1. Positional x-ray equipment at proper distance and angle form patient body
to present clear and undisturbed view.
2. Select proper film and insert into holder as per standard procedure.
3. Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures including OPG on patients as
prescribed by clinicians observing prescribed safety procedures.
4. Determine proper voltage, current and desired exposure time for each
radiograph.
5. Develop / process film and check quality as required.
6. Repeat film and check quality as required.
7. Repeat exposure procedure from different angles as prescribed by
physician.
8. Schedule patients for x-ray procedures if required.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
9. Maintain equipment by cleaning and making minor adjustment to the same
if required and report to supervisor in case of any fault or breakdown.
10.Ensure proper working of the radiation monitoring device and take
responsibility for any loss or damage to it.
11.To ensure change of radiation dose-monitoring device on quarterly basis
or as advised by the radiation protection committee.
12.Prepare duty roster of all radiology staffs.
13.Services on committees and task forces when necessary.
14.Prepare reports of procedures performed as advised by supervisor.
