Position: Corporate Planning Division Head, directly under the CEO/one of the Owner’s son in law.
Duties : Leading 35 people consists of Masterplanner, Architects, Civil Engineers,
ME Engineers. Proposing and developing overall township Planning,
Architecture, Public Facilites, Interior and signage activities to Board of
Directors. Coordinating,Selecting, and reviewing Consultants work ( such as
Aecom, SWA, Nihon Sekai, Arup, ex SOM architects, PAI, Wiratman
Structure Engineers, Sonny Sutanto). Leading 1 Deputy Division Head and 3
Department Heads, all of them have more than 15 years experience in Alam
Sutera. Major Projects are Alam Sutera Township (800 Hectares) including
High rises Buildings and major Convention Center(20 hectares) and Mix use
Urban block (20 hectares), Suvarna Sutera Township (1500 Hectares) which I

Company : Planning Architecture Interiors (PAI), an American Indonesian Joint
venture company.

Duties : Reporting directly to American Architect principal /owner, with
responsibility of managing 30 architects and usually having 25 on-going
projects. The firm established since 1985 and considered to be one of the best
and most expensive Architectural firm in Indonesia with various buildings and
Super Luxury Houses (for conglomerates size around 3000 m2 per house)
projects such as luxurious Hotel: Hotel Grand Mahakam, Carita Resort ,
Boutique Resorts and apartments: Permata Hijau Apartment , and 2 towers/41
floors apartment complex in CBD Pluit Jakarta, which is a Superblock Project
(7 hectares) consists of Condo towers, Townhouses, Shophouses and Office
buildings.
Reason for Leaving: Planning to start my own Developer company.
August 1999 to August 2000
Company : Manar Developments, Ras Al Khaimah ( RAK), United Arab Emirates, 1
hour drive from Dubai, owned by Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasssimi, as the
Mayor of Ras Al Khaimah, and now becomes the Ruler (King) of RAK.
Position : Town Planner and Design Principal, having experience presenting directly to
the King / Ruler of RAK, working directy under an Irish General Manager,
and he leaved all management, marketing and operation totally to me, as he
concentrated fully only to Manar Mall (20,000 m2) construction project
management.
Duties : Preparing a Pre Town Planning proposal (Land Use) for the province of
Ras Al Khaimah, Pre Master plan of an inner city Lagoon (200 hectares of
golf, luxurious estate), various apartment buildings and an office building all
the way to tender documents, and design proposal of resort hotel complex, spa
building, Bank tower ( 8 floors ), apartment tower complex ( 2 hectares), and
as a Design Supervisor for Manar Mall. Leading In-House Planning and
Architectural Design Team (10 staff ), and coordination with Sub Consultants
in UAE and Indonesia.
Reason for leaving : Pre Masterplan assignment completed. I was invited back to RAK in 2002
as Deputy Town Planner, but did not go because I am planning to do business
in Indonesia.

Position : As Co Team Leader for a Pre Master Plan Proposal in MM 2100 industrial
estate, under a Japanese Team Leader. I was directly leading 10 in-house
engineers and sub-consultants, reporting periodically to the owner’s son
/director, Mr. Alex Hungkang Sutedja and Marubeni Country Manager.
Duties : To prepare a pre Master Plan study of 2000 hectares extension plan for MM
2100 industrial estate (existing industial estate is 1000 hektares).
Reason for leaving : Work completed.

Company : PT. Equator Jaya Sembada, a large scale Developer company.
Position : As Technical Director, and member of a small Task Force (3 person) on a
new township project called Kota Kekerabatan Maja (20,000 hectares). As a
member of the Task Force, I was reporting directly (bi-monthly) to The
Ministry of Housing, Mr. Akbar Tandjung and to the Asistant Ministry Mr.
Sudharsono, and doing regular coordination with 12 Property Developer
members and various high ranking government officials such as to the Regent
of Lebak, Director of National Planning, and to Director of National Public
Housing. I am also leading an In-house Consultant Team of 20 Design and
Technical Staff, work including Masterplan Design , construction and Land
acquisition strategy.

project became successful, I was also assigned to be involved directly in
marketing/sales of the luxury housing, and train the sales team including in-
house team and from Procon Indonesia. The projects was owned Mr. Robby
Djohan, Mr. Atang Latief, Mr. Iwan Suhardiman, Mr. Boediman Koesika and
Mr. Subagja (Metropolitan Development). I reported periodically and directly
to them. Kedaton Golf estates back then was considered as one of the best
luxury Real Estate in Jakarta greater Area. I was also leading an In House
Consultant team (30 staffs) making Masterplan of 200 hectares, Urban
