NEPHROLOGY
Acquired extensive experience in the following areas:
 Dialysis(Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis)
 Experience in renal transplantation
 Induction therapy and maintenance immunosuppressive protocols
 In hospital Immediate post-transplant management and continued
outpatient post-transplant care
 Transplant in hepatitis B and hepatitis C patient
 Learned to overcome the barriers for a successful transplant in these
complex patients
 Management of post-transplant complications including rejections,
infections (CMV, BK ) and post-transplant malignancies (PTLD)
 Pharmacology of immunosuppressive medications
 Internal Jugular vein catheterization
 Femoral vein catheterization
 Transplantation immunobiology including tissue typing, CDC and flow
cross match and single bead antigen assay
 Evaluation of new transplant recipients and screening tests
 Evaluation of living donors.
 Coordination with multidisciplinary transplant team members including
the transplant surgery team
