Miguel Ángel Galbán is an orthopedic surgeon from Maracaibo, Venezuela who received his medical degree from Universidad de Oriente in 1987. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at Hospital Miguel Pérez Carreño in Caracas from 1989-1992 followed by fellowships in pediatric orthopedic surgery and the Ilizarov method. He is a member of several orthopedic surgery societies in Latin America and corresponds with orthopedic societies in North America.
