March, 2010 to date-Mine Security Investigator, Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd ,Ahafo
Responsibilities include but not limited to;
Managing/Supervise all Ahafo Site based investigative needs.
• Conduct risk management assessments, as well as ensuring compliance
with Governmental agencies regarding emergency and security. Serve as
a liaison with the law enforcements to assist in investigations of accidents,
thefts and property loss.
Essential duties include;
• Conducting investigations into theft, fraud, malicious damage, robbery and other transgressions
by and against NGGL employees at all Newmont operations in Ghana
• Interviewing and obtaining written statements from both suspects and witnesses
• Preparation of reports on on-going and completed investigations and make recommendations to
Management for further action
• Liaising with members of judicial system and act as Newmont’s representative in court hearings.
• Maintain confidential records of current and past investigation documents
• Maintain records of all cases, and their outcomes, which were reported to Ghana Police Service
• Collecting, preserving and documenting all evidence and specimens relating to investigations to
be used in legal or other proceedings
• Manage and report all Galamsey related issues occurring on Newmont concessions to
Management.
• Gather and manage all security related information for Management attention.
• Have financial responsibility and accountability.
• Proposed supervision on all investigative needs regarding underground and Ahafo North Projects
September, 2009 to Feb 2010-Area Operations Manager-G4S Security Services (GH).Ltd-
Ashanti, Brong Ahofo, and the three northern Regions.
Responsibilities included but not limited to;
• Managing and providing an excellent security services to various companies, industries, Banks
and other Financial Institutions and residential facilities in the four regions stated above and
reported directly to the Country’s operations Director.
Main duties involved,
• Securing new contracts, managing the various contracts by performing security surveys, risk
assessments, training of guards, Payment of employees’ salaries, conducting investigations into
various incidents, advising clients on security situations at their various locations, liaising with
local law enforcement agencies where necessary during investigation, and many more.
There were over Two Hundred (200) different Companies and industries as well as residential
clients and over five hundred (500) Security Guards and officers under my control.

• Working closely together with the Chief Security Officer of the Mine to conduct special
investigations into various incidents that occurred and advised management accordingly.

financial loss to the state, by playing a major role as the only questioned document Examiner for
the Agency.
