4. THE STORY
• Venus sent cupid to shoot Psyche
with one of his love arrows
• Fates became upset
• Cupid scratched himself with his
arrow and fell in love with psyche
5. CUPID AND PSYCHE
• Cupid takes Psyche to their castle
• Psyche never saw Cupid
• Psyche’s sisters came and were jealous
• They told her Cupid was a monster
6. PSYCHE’S PLAN
• Psyche takes a lamp and a dagger and
sees her husband
• Psyche drops oil from lamp
• Cupid flies away to have Venus heal him
• Venus gets mad and makes Psyche
perform tasks to see Cupid again

• Psyche had to sort an entire room full of seeds
• Cupid sent ants to help her
• Psyche finished well before Venus’s deadline

Proserpina’s Box of Beauty
• In a tower a voice told what to do
• The voice warned her not to open the box
• But she did……
11. THE END
• Cupid came back and saved Psyche
• He brought her to MT. OLYMPUS
and had her turned into a goddess
• They lived happily ever after
