Cserkeszőlő is a village in Hungary that has existed since 1952. In 1938, thermal water was discovered there at a depth of 2000 meters with a temperature of 93 degrees Celsius. The spa was closed during World War 2 but reopened in 1948, and spa construction began in 1955. The spa and open-air baths utilize the village's medicinal thermal water and have grown to include indoor and outdoor pools, salt rooms, and water slides. Local grape cultivation and folk traditions also play an important role in the community.
