A returned Peace Corps volunteer named Ricky Traner will present on how other cultures view American culture. The presentation will discuss how others perceive American culture differently and get the audience to reflect on how they define American culture themselves. It will use Traner's experience in Vanuatu to illustrate how Americans can be seen as different and how cultural beliefs influence behaviors. The presentation aims to get the audience to avoid cultural stereotyping by asking them to consider how it feels to be seen as different and how their own beliefs shape their actions.
