Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

kao prijaviteljici ovog kaznenog djela, učinili traženo mojih usmenim te
pismenim zahtjevom prilikom osobnih te pismenih konzultacija te obrisali
nepostojeće podatke o Tijani Bekeš s Hrvatskog Zavoda Za Zapošljavanje
sukladno potpisanoj im izjavi o kaznenoj te materijalnoj odgovornosti, kao i
priloženoj im plaćenoj dokumentaciji o likvidaciji te brisanju istih, a
temeljem cjelokupne im priložene dokumentacije o postojećim podacima
poslane kako pismeno, tako i tijekom istih službenih individualnih
konzultacija.
2. Odgovornost za permanentne pokušaje počinjenja kaznenog djela
trebaju snositi kako pojedinačni posrednici iz područnog ureda Hrvatskog
Zavoda Za Zapošljavanje tako i njihovi nadređeni na adresi Radnička 1
Zagreb jer su iste zaposlili te nisu nadzirali njihov rad.
Ovakvi opetovani pokušaji kaznenog djela traju od 25 kolovoza 2009.
do 1 siječnja 2013. i to od prvog pokušaja istog kod tadašnje prijavljene
savjetodavke iz područnog ureda Osijek Ksenija Turalija, a isti su se potom
nastavili od 19 veljače 2015. do 7 listopada 2017. kod tadašnje prijavljene
savjetodavke Đurđica Pali. Kod svih prijavljenih postoji istovjetan obrazac
kaznenog ponašanja po kojem nitko od prijavljenih, a također niti Nikola
Ivančić, nisu postupali po usmenom te pismenom zahtjevu, nisu obavijestili o
tijeku postupanja niti su konačno završili traženo zahtjevom.
Osim toga, prijavljeni su i zbog toga što su na isti način opetovano
pokušali onemogućiti objavljivanje službenog Europsko Unijskog Curriculum
Vitae Životopisa Europass s pet temeljnih sveučilišnih Europsko Unijskih
službenih dokumenata, kao i službeni Europsko Unijski Europassov portfolio
naziva Sveučilišni Modni Portfolio, a koji predstavlja izbor sveučilišnih
znanstvenih disciplina između ukupno 56 stečenih sveučilišnih znanstveno
disciplinarnih znanja te diplomskog rada, poslijediplomskog specijalističkog
rada kao i praktične specijalističke studije. Isti je Sveučilišni Modni
Portfolio sačinjen sukladno najinovatnijim dostignućima iz područja
Nekliničkih Farmaceutskih Istraživanja, Sigurnosti u Farmakologiji,
Sigurnosti i Kvaliteti Hrane te Prehrambenom Inženjerstvu, a koja su
znanstvena područja iz kojih je prijaviteljica pokušaja ovog kaznenog djela
stekla svoja sveučilišna znanja te ista primjenjivala od 9 listopada 1995.
Nadalje, isti prijavljeni savjetodavci, dakle Ksenija Turalija s
područnog ureda Hrvatskog Zavoda Za Zapošljavanja Osijek, Đurđica Pali kao
i Nikola Ivančić s područnog ureda Hrvatskog Zapošljavanja Novi Marof od
25 kolovoza 2009. nisu shvatili kako su isti usmeni te pismeni zahtjevi kao i
potpisane im izjave pod kaznenom i materijalnom odgovornošću prilikom svake
im periodične prijave na navedene područne urede, bili usmeno i/ili pismeno
upućeni zbog toga što pojedini potencijalni poslodavci od prijavljenih
savjetodavaca nisu dobili uvid koji su podaci autentični te koje je podatke
3. kao autentične dozvoljeno uporabljivati tijekom eventualnog zapošljavanja.
Naime, iako sam prijavljenim savjetodavcima objasnila kako se usmeni
zahtjevi odnose na onaj dio privatnog dijela osobnog života koji nije u
izravnoj vezi s poslovnim, ipak sam smatrala potrebitim naglasiti im kako je
od izravne važnosti za potencijalne poslodavce imati točne podatke o
potencijalnim zaposlenicima poput mene te sam im, obzirom toga, i donijela
plaćenu osobnu dokumentaciju o tome kako su osobni podaci Tijana Bekeš
nepostojeći.
Zbog ovdje navedenog, određeni su poslodavci iz biofarmaceutsko
farmaceutskog privatnog sektora kod kojih sam radila od 25 kolovoza 2009.
imali bespotrebnih problema za koje su izravni krivci ovdje prijavljeni
savjetodavci područnih ureda Hrvatskog Zavoda Za Zapošljavanje, a
pogotovo je izravni krivac njihov nadređeni Hrvatski Zavod Za Zapošljavanje
Radnička 1 Zagreb što je dozvolio takovu prijavljenu praksu.
Za prijavljenog Nikolu Ivančića, a kao što sam tražila i za prijavljene
mu radne kolege Kseniju Turaliju iz područnog ureda u Osijeku te Đurđicu
Pali iz područnog ureda Novi Marof, tražim momentalni otkaz jer nisu
proceduralizirali upućene im usmene i pismene zahtjeve, te me obavijestili o
istom ishodu procedure. Za nadređene Nikoli Ivančiću te Kseniji Turaliji u
varaždinskom županijskom uredu Hrvatskog Zavoda Za Zapošljavanje tražim
momentalni otkaz jer nisu izvršavali provjere njihovih djelatnika iz područnih
ureda, a kojima su isti zahtjevi upućeni. Za svima njima nadređeni zagrebački
regionalni ured Hrvatskog Zavoda Za Zapošljavanje tražim potpuno
uklanjanje istog s bilo kojeg Europsko Unijskog zemljovida kao obrisani
prijavljeni imigrantski neonacistički-rasistički-američko-srpsko-crnogorski-
bosansko-albanski-turski obrisani višak.
Isto prijavljujem iz razloga što sam dosad prema Hrvatskom Zavodu
Za Zapošljavanje izvršavala svaku obvezu te zaključujem kako njima od mene
nikad neće biti dozvoljeno nametati ikakovu obvezu dok god ne ispoštuju
traženo zahtjevom te utemelje kult osobnosti kao instituciju naziva Točnost
Osobnih Podataka, a svim potencijalnim poslodavcima iz privatnog sektora
dajem naznaku kako bi nadležnim Europsko Unijskim nadzornim tijelima
trebali prijavljivati one obrisane djelatnike s Hrvatskog Zavoda Za
4. Zapošljavanje koji im s evidencije Hrvatskog Zavoda Za Zapošljavanje
pošalju potencijalne zaposlenike koji predstavljaju navedeni imigrantski
neonacistički-rasistički- američko-srpsko-crnogorski-bosansko-albanski-
turski obrisani višak.
Smatram kako postoji i oduvijek je postojala pojedinačnost između
privatne te poslovne osobnosti te kako, tijekom nezaposlenosti, onim
Europsko Unijskim građanima te građankama poput mene, a koji se s istim
imigrantskim neonacističko-rasističkom-američko-srpsko-crnogorskim-
bosansko-albansko-turskim obrisanim viškom ne žele i/ili neće
poistovjećivati, takove nije dozvoljeno niti nametati, a ukoliko isti Europsko
Unijski građani te građanke nisu legalno plaćeni za pripadnost takovu
multikulturalnom okruženju.
Ukoliko je istoj prijavi, uz Europsko Unijsku osobnu iskaznicu izdanu
29 listopada 2014. evidentiranu brojem 111244855 potrebno priložiti
dostupnu plaćenu dokumentaciju koja potvrđuje navode iz prijave, molim isto
pismeno tražiti običnom pošiljkom na samačku kućansku adresu na području
