Green Residential Design
The emphasis of this project was to use exclusively research-based
design to develop a strategy that filled the needs of the client and
explored what it meant to have a green home. Green residential
design has been an ever-evolving concept and approach for the
construction industry. Some of the major difficulties have been
producing policies that are fundamentally sound, ecologically
friendly, and easily adaptable to the homeowner. Through the use
of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, I
was able to produce a full set of construction documents and
specifications that satisfied all of the requirements for
a complete design.

Commercial Interior Renderings
The focus of this project was to create an interior space suitable
for a fictitious advertisement firm, ID Global, in a computer
generated three-dimensional space. I created the majority of the
models using Google Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop for custom
texture creation, and Autodesk Revit for rendering and design.

Senior Living Design
The goal of this project was to create a senior home with a large
public space that focused on the needs of seniors who are still
mobile, but may require additional amenities in their day-to-day
lives. I chose to give the space a Tuscan Villa motif for an
additional appeal for residents. AutoCAD was the main software
used for drafting, with the use of Photoshop for finish plans, and
a hand sketch for quick details.

Commercial Office Design
Remodeling a pre-existing interior space for an established archi-
tecture firm was the focus of this project. The programming for
this space called for the private offices and open work spaces to be
securely separated from the large conference room. My concept
for the space was a visually stimulating design that portrayed the
customer’s design based principles. Google Sketchup was the main
tool for rendering with the use of AutoCAD for drafting.

Design Development
Here are a few examples of renderings and visual expressions of
space and furniture. These drawings and renderings represent
process work important to interior design. These are just
examples of a light and shadow study, furniture renderings, a
quick rendering of a site plan to express finishes and space, and
lastly, two separate renderings of a space one to show just the
furniture and proportion without committing to finishes, the
second showing a finish rendering.

Multi-Unit Residential Design
Transforming a building to fit the needs of a new tenant was
the basis of design for this multi-unit residential space. The pro-
gramming for the design consisted of building a strong appeal for
visual arts students. My contemporary design solution integrated
school colors, in visually impactful ways. The software used for
this project was AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop.
