Dear Hiring Team,
For the past 8 years, my primary focus has been on optimizing organizations’ Salesforce.com database as an
administrator, an analyst and a consultant. The skills that I have acquired include configuring access,
customizing page layouts/field types/objects, establishing business logic automations and other processes,
managing development and advanced functionality, importing data, analyzing via reports and dashboards, and
much more. In addition, throughout my career I have honed my skills in training users on how to properly and
effectively use Salesforce features, integrating various 3rd
-party apps, and leading development projects
creating customized functionality.
In addition to my strengths in managing the complete data lifecycle in Salesforce, I am also extremely capable
in data entry, manipulation and reporting in MS Excel and am quite knowledgeable on Google Apps. I have
also made multiple information processing systems that have been used to improve inefficient processes, thus
eliminating bottlenecks. In my current position my attention was focused on our sales and marketing efforts,
and that afforded me the opportunity to enhance the CRM’s capabilities to grow our sales output and lead
generation.
My education in Information and Library Sciences provides me with a unique insight when dealing with the
dissemination, access, and usage of information. My philosophy is heavily user-oriented. Therefore, I put a
great emphasis on the human side of data management, and that translates into customized trainings,
instructive user documentation, and strong usability guidelines. I wish to be a bridge that connects the
technical aspects of data tools with the data needs of the end-user.
I would like to briefly explain the number of positions that I have had since 2009. In two instances, the not-for-
profits that I worked for lost funding and several positions were terminated including mine. Several other
positions were with entrepreneurial, start-up companies which were either contract-based or ultimately
consolidated or failed. I have never left a company on bad terms or for performance issues. I wholeheartedly
agree with the Henry David Thoreau thought, “All misfortune is but a stepping stone to fortune.” I will assure
you that my intention is to create a long and productive career working for one company. I can supply
references from past employers to verify my employment history.
Lastly, I believe that my experience as a 24-year brain tumor survivor has taught me the importance of
determination and perseverance, which translates into a patient instructor and a creative problem-solver.
