I am writing this letter on behalf of Courtney Major, a Front Office Specialist at Lopstick
Lodge. Courtney has been employed, in this position, with Lopstick since March 20, 2005.
Lopstick Lodge is located on First Connecticut Lake in Pittsburg, NH. We are open year round
and provide lodging, fly fishing and upland bird hunting guide services, and information about the out-
doors to a myriad of patrons. We are also the only Orvis endorsed fly fishing outfitter in New Hamp-
shire. We also provide 14 snowmobiles, 3canoes, single and tandem kayaks, row and motorboat rent-
als during their appropriate seasons.
In the summer time we entertain guests with interests in wildlife viewing, hiking, fly fishing, kay-
aking, and canoeing. In the fall our focuses shift to foliage viewing and hunting for a variety of species
from the explosive ruffed grouse to the elusive white tail deer. With the winter season comes snow-
mobiling, snowshoeing, deer and moose antler shed hunting, and ice fishing for lake trout and cusk.
After a long winter, the spring season brings some of the best landlocked salmon fishing in the State of
New Hampshire.
As a front office specialist, Courtney is responsible for providing our guests and
customers with the appropriate products, information, and services necessary to meet their desired
needs. Whether these needs include lodging, outdoor recreation; or both, Courtney is responsible
for providing necessary and accurate information about the coordination of stays and the usage of ap-
propriate gear and equipment to use to ensure our guests have the most enjoyable experience possi-
ble.
