This document describes a weekend project to build an inexpensive lie detector for elderly monitoring using existing technologies like lie detectors, blue tooth, cell phones, and wrist watches. The device would monitor an elderly person's vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, and respiration and send an alert to caregivers if it detects unusual readings. If the person does not answer a fake phone call within 5 seconds, the device would make a computerized voice call to stored emergency contacts and also SMS their location.
