The Counterdrug Task Force conducts operations against illicit drugs and transnational threats by providing military support to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. In 2010, the more than 40 members of the Georgia Counterdrug Task Force assisted in seizures totaling over $421 million and eradicated over 75,000 outdoor marijuana plants. They also discovered the largest methamphetamine lab on the East Coast, producing 200 pounds of meth per month. The Task Force received an inspection score of 98 out of 100, higher than the national average of 89.
