sports gear, with a blue top and blue shorts this is because sports
wear portrays a sense of strength and power, Athletes are
portrayed as strong and being inferior to non athletes. Non
athletes are categorised as weak and vulnerable.

conveys a smart,
neat and tidy image
in comparison to the
bullies who are
dressed in outdoor Glasses
sports gear. The
significance of having
Sam dressed like this White shirt and
enables the audience stickers attached to
to see why she may blazer
not the traditional
image of a young
teen as she can be
seen as an outcast.
We have also Black trousers
selected for Sam to
wear glasses as we
were conforming to
the stereotypical
conventions of a Black
teenage nerd or geek converses
