C&T Engineers, a company owned by Trinity College of Engineering and headed by Assistant Professor Jimmy Bentex, successfully designed the plant room for the COEX campus hosting the Dubai 2020 expo. Two Mechanical Engineering alumni from Trinity, Jebin and Vignesh who work as design engineers at C&T Engineers, were responsible for this impressive design project.
The Kerala Startup Mission organized a product presentation event at the State Police Headquarters for 16 startup companies to showcase technologies that could benefit law enforcement. Ricardo Technix, a campus startup from Trinity, presented the latest Android-based version of their breathalyzer. It was well received, especially by senior police officials in attendance.

The objectives were to discuss how to better prepare students for corporate jobs and how CII could help bridge the gap between academia and industry. The PSYWC'15 workshop was held from October 2-4, 2015 at COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology Islamabad. It provided a platform for IEEE Student Branches, Women in Engineering groups, and Young Professionals groups across Pakistan to discuss activities from the year and for students to interact with academics and industry professionals to enhance their engineering and professional skills. The tests showed the Swift's body structure was unstable and did not adequately protect the chest and knees of occupants. While dual airbags are now standard, the Swift still lacks optional safety features like side curtain airbags that are standard on the European version. Global NCAP recommends Maruti Suzuki make high-safety versions of the Swift available in India, as they have done with other models like the Brezza, to improve occupant protection.
