Arriving at PUJ
­ include on your luggage tag where you'll be staying in case it does get lost ­ use a business
card for contact/address instead of home address
­on the plane to Punta Cana, they will give you one large immigration form and two narrow blue
individual customs forms. Get two of the customs forms per person and fill out the duplicates at
the hotel because you will need them to get out of Punta Cana. If you don't, they'll give them to
you at the departure desk and you'll have to fill them out in the un­air conditioned terminal with
only about 20 square feet of writing space and hundreds of people trying to commandeer it.
­On average it takes 30 to 50 minutes from disembarkation to reach the outer arrivals hall.

­ A buildings are closest to ocean, B buildings are farther back, and there are a few C buildings
that run parallel to shore.

The A side pools;
‘LAZY RIVER’ with tubes supplied to float around the Ipanema restaurant.
Moon pool, between buildings 7A & 5A, in front of the Toro restaurant.
Guitar Pool, in front of building 5A. There is a pool bar to service the Moon & Guitar pools.
Eclipse Pool ( biggest pool & closest to the beach),
Central Pool
Woodstock Pool ( also know as the Rock Star Level Pool with restrictive admittance) .
These 3 pools are between buildings 5A & 4A. There is a pool bar, serving burgers, snacks &
drinks.
Drums Pool in front of building 4 A & has a swim up bar.
Sun Pool between buildings 4A & 2A. This is the members pool area. Has a towel shack with a
concierge on duty, a snack bar with several items & a drinks bar. On the beach in front of the
members pool, is the members beach area & bar. Tattered flags are used to identify this area.
There are 2 types of upgrade beach chairs for members.
Isla Pool is in front of the Isla restaurant & has a swim up bar.
The B side pools;
Bongos Pool, between buildings 7B & 5B. Swim up bar & Mexican snacks.

pools/beach.

tradition... Last meal in the DR...Pack a few snacks from the hotel, last couple of beers from the
room...
