This document summarizes oil product sales and consumption data in Italy for January through August 2014 compared to the same period in 2013. It shows that total oil product sales decreased by 7.0% and consumption decreased by 3.8% from 2013 levels. Specific petroleum products like gasoline, diesel fuel, and LPG also saw declines in both sales volumes and percentages from the previous year. Consumption of petroleum products for electricity and heat production decreased slightly as well.
