Constitutional Law
Constitution Law is related to the legal provisions of the formation and working of Governments and the roles,
responsibilities and processes as mentioned in the Constitution.
It is generally accepted that Constitution Law is the rules which regulates the structure of the principal organs of the
Government and their relationship to one another.
Constitution is the fundamental and supreme law of the land of any country.
Broadly speaking, Constitutional Law studies the following aspects:
Forms of Government: Presidential and Parliamentary
The Preamble
Union and its territories
Citizenship
Fundamental Rights and Duties
Directive Principles of State Policy
Legislative System (Election, Parliament / President-ship etc.)
Administrative (Organization and functioning of the Government)
Judiciary (Court System, Supreme Court, High Court and other courts, Justices and Judges, Court procedure etc.)
Provisions related to Emergency Rule
Constitutional Amendment process
Administrative Law is a branch that was spun out of Constitutional Law.
