3. How to play
• This game is for individual players (not teams) who
compete against other individuals
• Each participant is provided with a regular drinking
straw
• A crayon is place in the middle of the playing
surface
– A regular table will suffice as a playing surface
• Object of the game is to
blow the crayon off your
opponent's side of the table
– No physical contact with the
crayon is permitted

4. Insights of the game
• This game was created while waiting for the bill at a
restaurant with my 4 year old nephew. The crayon he
had been using to colour with was lying in the center
of the table. I took the straw from my drink and blew
on the crayon, rolling it towards him. He giggled,
grabbed his straw and blew it back towards me. We
then proceeded to compete to see who could get the
crayon towards the other’s side of the table.
• One variation of the game is to include placing
obstacles onto the playing surface, such as glasses,
that the players must navigate.
• Another successful variation popular with 4 year olds
that play the game is to place a significant amount of
saliva onto the playing surface to slow down or stop
the crayon from rolling.
