7. How to Play Musical Chairs
Musical chairs is a really fun
game that is played by both
children and adults. Musical
chairs can be played at parties,
weddings, around the campfire,
and at school. For adults, it can
be played blindfolded, which is
hilarious.

Musical Chairs
3 or more players
,1 chair per player,
minus 1 chair (i.e.
if you have 10
players, you use 9
chairs), Music

9. Rules
• Set out 1 chair for each guest, minus one chair (i.e. if you have 20 guests, only
play with 19 chairs).
Arrange the chairs in a circle, facing outward OR arrange the chairs in two rows
with the chairs back to back..
Start the music but be prepared to stop the music abruptly.
As the music plays, the guests form a single file line and walk clockwise around
the chairs.
Have the guests walk around the chairs a couple of times and then stop the
music abruptly.
When the music stops, the guests must sit in a chair.
Since there is one less chair than there are number of guests, one person will
be left standing.
The person left standing when the music stops is eliminated from the game.
Remove one chair from the game before starting the music again..
Start the music again to repeat the process.
The person left sitting at the end of the game is the winner.
