This document discusses Hunched-Over Laptop Syndrome (HOLS), which can develop from constantly looking down at a laptop screen and putting tension on the neck muscles. Prolonged poor posture from laptop use can strain the neck muscles and lead to issues like neck pain, loss of the normal cervical curve, and herniated discs. The solution is to raise the laptop screen to eye level using a laptop stand or books to reduce neck flexion and tension. Chiropractic adjustments and exercises can also help treat neck pain from HOLS.
