Cuernavaca is morecosmopolitan than
Tepoztlán. The city has more museums, more
cultural centers, and offers more modern art
and urban cultural activities. You will find more
variety in entertainment, with more theaters,
more galleries, and more festivals catering to a

Tepoztlán, however, is more traditional. The
town is deeply rooted in pre-Hispanic culture,
with more indigenous traditions and more
rituals still practiced today. You can find more
handicrafts and more local artisans selling their
work. Tepoztlán is also home to more spiritual
retreats and offers a more mystical cultural
atmosphere.

CLIMATE
Cuernavaca is knownas the “City of Eternal
Spring” because of its pleasant weather.
However, it is generally warmer than Tepoztlán,
with more heat during the summer months.
The climate here is more stable, with more
consistent temperatures year-round.

cooler and experiences less heat than
Cuernavaca. It has more variation in
