Comprehension of a manual system benefits
Accounting is a necessary function for any organization or business that needs to grow,
all businesses must know how to keep a record of their income and expenses.To some
accountant they enjoy working with the accounting software others prefer working with
manual system as it eases their ledger booking keeping procedures.
Weygandt(2003).If manual accounting system is well developed it can deliver timely and
accurate information because it applies to any business procedures.Though the manual
system requires a little knowledge of book keeping but can be easier to manage once the
key concept of book keeping have been grasped.
The basic tips of book keeping is a good start because once learn’t can be applied to all
businesses and that can be an advantage to any entrepreneur.
How you use a computer application for accounting.
Haber(2004).The advantage of using an accounting software is very much achieved and
delivered since it speeds up filling up of ledger accounts which it auto populates itself in
accounts payable and account receivable.Then you just have to enter the actual cash total
items purchased and the application will distribute the total amount in the ledger account
to become credits.

a) Experience in working in the same environment for a long time contributes a lot in
building your business
b) Working or having a job also gives you skills in the field since you were facing
people and handing stock at the same time.
Second post:
I would prefer using the accounting software for business processing since it reduces
workload and improves work efficiency to the other hand it reduces errors which are
prone to humans as cited by Marsden(2008).
But not all areas of accounting needs accounting software, places like book preparation
needs to be done manually to fully understand the correct procedure.Also knowing the
in’s and out’s of balancing debits and credits is better if do it manually while you’l learn
the accounting package later.
