1. Initial meeting to discuss potential collaboration between multiple municipalities, Bexar County and educational districts and institutions. May 21, 2010
2. Bexar County , San Antonio , Kirby , Converse , Live Oak , Universal City & Selma as well as Judson ISD and Northeast Lakeview all share the same population of residents and business and are experiencing extremely rapid growth, which is anticipated to continue to escalate over the next two years. With existing infrastructure and support services already over taxed and limited funding, joint venture opportunities is one alternative to explore that could meet obligations and help better prepare and plan for the future.

4. District 2 Median Income This district has historically been one of the lowest income in the region. Currently, the majority of HH’s in District 2 make >56k annually. With a few small pockets in the next income bracket. The current and future growth from the BRAC expansion at Ft Sam Houston and Randolph is putting more pressure on already strained infrastructure with increased demands for housing & commercial property to support the needs of the troops and support jobs coming for the expanded missions.
