Detecting Clones across Microsoft .NET Programming Languages (WCRE2012)imanmahsa
This presentation is given in Working Conference on Reverse Engineering (WCRE 2012).
The paper title is: "Detecting Clones across Microsoft .NET Programming Languages"
Abstract:
The Microsoft .NET framework and its language
family focus on multi-language development to support
interoperability across several programming languages. The
framework allows for the development of similar applications
in different languages through the reuse of core libraries. As a
result of such a multi-language development, the identification
and traceability of similar code fragments (clones) becomes a
key challenge. In this paper, we present a clone detection
approach for the .NET language family. The approach is based
on the Common Intermediate Language, which is generated by
the .NET compiler for the different languages within the .NET
framework. In order to achieve an acceptable recall while
maintaining the precision of our detection approach, we define
a set of filtering processes to reduce noise in the raw data. We
show that these filters are essential for Intermediate Languagebased
clone detection, without significantly affecting the
precision of the detection approach. Finally, we study the
quantitative and qualitative performance aspects of our clone
detection approach. We evaluate the number of reported
candidate clone-pairs, as well as the precision and recall (using
manual validation) for several open source cross-language
systems, to show the effectiveness of our proposed approach.

Paper Title:
A Linked Data Platform for Mining Software Repositories
Paper Abstract:
The mining of software repositories involves the extraction of both basic and value-added information from existing software repositories. The repositories will be mined to extract facts by different stakeholders (e.g. researchers, managers) and for various purposes. To avoid unnecessary pre-processing and analysis steps, sharing and integration of both basic and value-added facts are needed. In this research, we introduce SeCold, an open and collaborative platform for sharing software datasets. SeCold provides the first online software ecosystem Linked Data platform that supports data extraction and on-the-fly inter-dataset integration from major version control, issue tracking, and quality evaluation systems. In its first release, the dataset contains about two billion facts, such as source code statements, software licenses, and code clones from 18 000 software projects. In its second release the SeCold project will contain additional facts mined from issue trackers and versioning systems. Our approach is based on the same fundamental principle as Wikipedia: researchers and tool developers share analysis results obtained from their tools by publishing them as part of the SeCold portal and therefore make them an integrated part of the global knowledge domain. The SeCold project is an official member of the Linked Data dataset cloud and is currently the eighth largest online dataset available on the Web.
Internet-scale Real-time Code Clone Search via Multi-level Indexingimanmahsa
Paper Titile: "Internet-scale Real-time Code Clone Search via Multi-level Indexing"
Conference: "WCRE 2011"
Abstract:
Finding lines of code similar to a code fragment across large knowledge bases in fractions of a second is a new branch of code clone research also known as real-time code clone search. Among the requirements real-time code clone search has to meet are scalability, short response time, scalable incremental corpus updates, and support for type-1, type-2, and type-3 clones. We conducted a set of empirical studies on a large open source code corpus to gain insight about its characteristics. We used these results to design and optimize a multi-level indexing approach using hash table-based and binary search to improve Internet-scale real-time code clone search response time. Finally, we performed an evaluation on an Internet-scale corpus (1.5 million Java files and 266 MLOC). Our approach maintains a response time for 99.9% of clone searches in the microseconds range, while supporting the aforementioned requirements.

A common language supporting digital transformationHakim Mendjeli
This presentation highlights the issue of the use of language associated with digital transformation in Financial services. It focuses on 3 heavily concepts: Innovation, Strategy and Customer Centricity.
It aims to get the conversation started. You won't find here some easy recipes. There are few practical examples on how to fix problems related to the role of innovation, the alignment in terms of digital strategy and bringing customer voice into the digital transformation journey.

audio, foto, formazione online ecc..), a differenza
corriere).
38. Quirino Picone
quirinopicone@gmail.com - 349 850 64 65
ATTENZIONE AI CAMBIAMENTI
Gli utenti che acquistano online passeranno
da essere soggetti passivi IVA ad attivi,
determinando con il domicilio o il luogo
di residenza le tasse imponibili sul bene
acquistato.

In
