The document discusses experiences with using mobile and online tools for collaborative script writing among a group of 10 amateur filmmakers. Over 12 months, the group used online forums and tagging to develop ideas and write 1-3 short film scripts together. Initial ideas were collected and synthesized, then writers contributed characters and scenes which were linked together. However, most actual script development occurred through informal offline discussions. Future work could enhance the tools with artificial intelligence to provide automatic annotations and suggestions to support the creative process.
