Full day workshops on co-generation and trigeneration were held across South Africa in November 2014 presented by Dr. Daniel Hesse of GmbH, Germany. Attendees were mostly satisfied with the workshop content and moderator. The workshops met expectations for most attendees, with some requesting more information tailored to the South African context. While time allocated was considered right, some found the material complex. Positive feedback was received with requests for future workshops and more information on implementing energy performance contracts in South Africa.

• We need more SA experience stories on Escos in municipalities & how barriers
such as regulations can be dealt with. Thank you for the opportunity
• The concept was fairly new to me , in as much as how good it is, we need to
explore more on energy perfomance contracting as well as energy supply
contracting.
• The whole workshop was good but it must be relevant to SA. Situation and
currency. It is up to the facilitator to make the workshop live.
• Follow up workshops will be of assistance.
