Marc Vidulich, the head coach of the University of Colorado Women's Club Volleyball team, strongly recommends Katrina Reuter for a position. Katrina has been a starting middle blocker on the team for 3 years, helping lead them to top 10 national finishes. She is an exceptional athlete with excellent volleyball skills, but also stands out for her calm demeanor and interpersonal skills, always supporting her teammates. In addition to being an excellent student and hard worker, Katrina is described as punctual, reliable, and one of the highest quality people the coach has encountered in his 34-year teaching career.

RE : Recommendation for Katrina Reuter
To Whom It May Concern:
I am very pleased to be able to write this letter for a very special person, Katrina Reuter. I have known
Katrina for almost 3 years and would probably recommend her for anything she asked me to. The fact that
she is applying for such a quality position makes it quite easy.
I am the head coach for the University of Colorado Women’s Club Volleyball program and Katrina has
been a starting middle blocker of ours for the past 3 years. She is a phenomenal athlete, a tremendous
middle blocker and a wonderful person and teammate.
Our team has been quite competitive nationally since Katrina joined our team as a freshman in the fall of
2011. That year we were 9th at the national tournament in Kansas City. The following year we were also 9th
at Nationals in Dallas. With virtually the same team as last year we are hoping to improve in April in Reno,
Nevada.. We recently finished 5th at the prestigious Far Westerns tournament in Davis, CA. (March 22-23).
Katrina has started every match of every tournament we have competed in since joining our team.
While she is an exceptional athlete (the list of sports and activities she has participated in is impressive)
with excellent volleyball skills, it’s her demeanor and inter-personal skills that make her special. She is the
epitome of a perfect teammate. Never one to question a coach’s decision and never one to criticize a
teammate, Katrina is always calm and cool in the face of adversity. She is one of our “go-to” players
because she often gets the job done. And after making a mistake she never gets down but gives the
impression that we can go to her again.
Very bright, Katrina is an excellent student at C.U. (3.0) and was an excellent student at Los Gatos HS.
Super hard working, Katrina never has to be called out for not practicing or playing hard. Always punctual,
she has seldom missed practice and quite possibly has never been late.
I think Katrina would be absolutely perfect for this position and I hope you choose her. It will prove to be a
great decision. I have been a public school teacher for 34 years (30 at the high school level) and Katrina is
one of the highest quality people I have come in contact with.
Please contact me if you have other questions.
