To reinstate an inactive club, there are two options. Option 1 requires collecting dues from 8 current members including 3 past members, paying a $216 reinstatement fee and any balance owed, and submitting a new officer list, but membership continuity is lost. Option 2 also requires dues from 8 current and 6 past members, paying any balance owed, and submitting a new officer list, and members retain their original join dates provided no other breaks occurred. If a club has been inactive for two or more periods, it must charter as a new club by meeting all requirements and cannot be reinstated.

1. HOW TO
REINSTATE YOUR CLUB
If your club would like to become active again, it has two options.
Under OPTION 1, the club must:
1. Collect current Dues Renewal for a minimum of eight members, at
least three of whom were members of the club immediately before
the club became inactive.
2. Pay a $216 (US) reinstatement fee.
3. Pay any past owing balance.
4. Submit a current club officer list.
With this option, membership continuity is lost.
Under OPTION 2, the club must:
1. Collect current Dues Renewal for a minimum of eight members, at
least three of whom were members of the club immediately before
the club became inactive.
2. Collect Dues Renewal for the previous period for a minimum of
six members, at least three of whom were members of the club
immediately before the club became inactive.
3. Pay any past owing balance.
4. Submit a current club officer list.
Each person’s membership record continues to reflect the original join
date, provided no other breaks in membership occurred.
If your club has been inactive for two or more Dues
Renewal periods, it must charter as a new club, meeting
all charter requirements. It may not reinstate.
