Cloning and other forms of artificial human reproduction are contrary to human dignity as they do not involve an act of love between spouses. Such techniques replace the marital act and deny respect for both parents and children by removing God from the genealogy of the reproduced person. As Christians, the Magisterium's judgment is that we should avoid these methods and prioritize God's will in human procreation.
