The highlights of Class 1M's school year included trips to Fungi in Dingle, Fota Wildlife Park, Cobh, and Dublin where they met an astronaut and participated in the Make-A-Book project. They also played soccer and basketball, took woodworking classes, and received a Green Flag award. Some outings included visits to Fitzgerald Park, Cork City Museum, parks, bridges, and attractions in Cobh, Dingle, and University College Cork including the Honan Chapel.
