The CIHC Competency Framework for Advancing Collaboration (2024) aims to improve interprofessional education and collaborative healthcare in Canada through a refreshed set of competencies that emphasize relationship-focused care. It identifies six key domains essential for effective collaboration: relationship-focused care/services, team communication, role clarification/ negotiation, team functioning, handling differences/disagreements, and collaborative leadership. This living document encourages ongoing engagement and input from diverse stakeholders to ensure its relevance and adaptability in a changing healthcare landscape.
