Lisbon is the capital and largest city of Portugal. It is the headquarters of the Diocese and Patriarchate of Lisbon. Porto is known as the Capital City of the North or the Invicta. It is famous for its wine, historic center listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and football club. Faro is the capital of the Algarve region in southern Portugal, with a population of around 58,000 people. Coimbra is the capital of the Coimbra district in central Portugal and is considered one of the most important cities due to its infrastructure, organizations, and historical importance.

The council is limited to the north and west by the municipality of São Brás de Alportel, east of Olhão, Loulé in the west and south coast is the Atlantic Ocean. The city is through the Faro Airport the second largest entry of the foreign country.

It is considered one of the most important Portuguese cities because the infrastructure, organizations and companies that owns and serving the entire population, that its historical importance and privileged geographical position in the central region, it has focus.
