CHUNKY PINEAPPLE-PORK MENUDO 
SERVE WITH RIPE MANGO, RICE AND ORANGE JUICE 
¼ kilo pork meat (sliced) 
1 cup potatoes (diced) 
1 cup carrots (diced) 
½ cup green bell pepper (diced) 
2 tbsp garlic (chopped) 
2 tbsp onion (chopped) 
1 cup tomato puree/sauce 
½ cup green peas (without water) 
1 cup pineapple chunks/cubes 
1 tbsp soy sauce 
1 tbsp salt 
1 tbsp sugar 
½ kilo ripe mango (for dessert) 
1 cup orange juice 
1 cup water 
Menudo cooking procedure: 
1. Heat the cooking oil in a cooking pan. 
2. Sauté garlic and onion. 
3. Add the pork meat and salt. Stir for 1 minute then add the soy sauce. Stir. Wait until meat 
become tender. 
4. Add the potatoes and carrots. Add the tomato puree. Stir. Add the water and sugar and mix it. 
Cover and let it boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. 
5. Add the pineapple chunks and green bell pepper. Stir then add the green peas and the ground 
pepper. Stir. Simmer for 2 minutes. 
6. Serve with rice. 
For the preparation of drinks and dessert: 
1. Cut the two sides of the mango. 
2. Use knife to form a cubes. 
3. Sprinkle 1 tsp sugar. 
4. Prepare an orange juice. 
5. Serve with juice
