Angels are important symbols in Christmas traditions as they announced the birth of Jesus Christ. The document provides instructions for making simple Christmas angels out of materials like pulp balls, feathers, glitter glue, and wire. Students in a 5th grade class in Latvia came up with the idea. The directions explain how to use crochet needles and thread to form hangers on the angels and add facial features and halos using glue, pens, and glitter. The finished angels are intended to spread love, peace and joy during the Christmas season.

2. Angels are very important in the
announcement of the Christ child’s birth,
so angels are emblems in Christmas
stories, decorations and celebrations.
Angels symbolize love, peace and joy.
An idea to make very simple Christmas
Angels came from girls in our class.
Let these little angels will accompany you
and fill you with love and joy!

3. Materials required:
 30mm pulp balls.
 White feathers.
 Silver / gold glitter glue.
 Silver crochet thread.
 Silver wire.
 Colored pens.
 Glue gun.
 Scissors.
 Crochet needles.

4. We had pulp balls only with one small hole,
so we use the crochet needle to make the
hole bigger and through all pulp ball.

5. Then take 10 cm of silver crochet thread,
fold it in half and knot it.

6. Using crochet needle you must pull the thread
through ball. This will be the hanger for angel.

7. Create the angel's face. Use silver / gold
glitter glue pen for the hair, the colored pens
for the eyes, mouth and for the cheeks.

8. Bend silver wire into a circle and glue it onto
angel's head for a halo. Then put glue into the
bottom hole of angel's head. Place feathers in
the hole with the glue.
