o 2010 developed the Swedish First Hill Pediatric Transport Team with Transport Coordinator Role
o 2010 developed the Pediatric Nitrous Program at First Hill for pain control of pediatric patients, now
expanded to a multi-campus practice
o Doubled the Pediatric Float Pool staff, and now have evolved this role into multi-campus nursing
responsibilities and assignments of procedural sedation
o Supporting the expansion of caring for diverse pediatric patients including:
 General medical & surgical, both acute & intensive care
 Patient population of neurology, EEG monitoring, psychiatric, respiratory including
ventilation, high flow& oscillator ventilation, peritoneal dialysis, NAS, failure to thrive
infants, and outpatient procedures of endoscopy, colonoscopy & sedated MRI
 Providing constant & unwavering support to staff & direct reports, as well as maintain constant
communication with the Director of Women & Children’s Service Line and hospital CNO
 Perform daily rounding on patients & families to ensure the care provided in the unit is exceptional
 Provide service recovery to families with concern or who staff identifies as being displeased
