Pitching:
• Pitch to Indiana Daily Student:
I’m reaching out to let you know of a semi-unknown wonder around your campus:
Multiple Greek organizations at IU have in-house, full-time, talented chefs employed by
the longest known fraternity and sorority kitchen management company, Campus Cooks.
They eat like rock stars every day and then some. Campus Cooks has partnered with 5
Greek organizations as sponsors for Little 500 by contributing over $1,000 towards team
training.
With recent negative generalizations in the media, it would be great to highlight how
Campus Cooks exists to enhance sorority and fraternity lives through cooking - and as a
company. Campus Cooks aims to enhance Greek life every day - and for this particular
event. We’ve done so by making sure each team had what they need to succeed during
Little 500. Some teams have little to no funding and have to pay everything out-of-
pocket. Campus Cooks paid for their gear (jerseys, shorts, rollers) and organized special
team dinners to make sure they are well fed during training. During Spring Break, the
Gamma Phi Beta sorority stayed in Bloomington to train for the race and we took care of
their food. They ended up qualifying in 2nd place during Quals this past weekend.

• Pitch to The Eagle:
The women at Tri Delta sorority at Texas A&M have raised over $10,000 for their Chef,
Mike & wife, Dina who is battling cancer. On top of their annually scheduled philanthropic
events supporting St. Jude Children’s Hospital, they have held jewelry truck shows, t-
shirt sales, and more to specifically raise money for their chef. They went above and
beyond the set duties asked of them through the national sorority and TAMU Greek life
office, and course work. They are serving as model citizens in the TAMU Greek
community and their philanthropic work should be shared; they have not spoken
publically of their assistance for Chef Mike. On behalf of my company, we are moved
and blown away by their efforts. Being a sorority woman myself, I commend their work
as young college women. It should be highlighted for the benefit of Greek life at TAMU
and nationwide, especially with the ongoing negative media on sorority and fraternity life.
I’d like to set you up with contact info for the President of Tri Delta, Lainey Bostic and
Chef Mike and Dina. Any questions about our company can be addressed with me. Chef
Mike is employed with Campus Cooks.

• Pitch to Knoxville News Sentinel:
The women of Sigma Kappa sorority from the University of Tennessee are hosting a
philanthropic tailgate, serving chili lunch to raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s
Association. For $10, receive a delicious chili lunch including bottled water and a
dessert, prepared on-site by Sigma Kappa Chef, Mallory Hardy of Campus Cooks. The
event is made possible with donations and preparations by Campus Cooks. Campus
Cooks staff will be present, cooking the food on-site alongside alumnae volunteers.
Sigma Kappa is the largest contributing organization to Alzheimer’s research and
awareness in the United States. Come out and help us and the women of Sigma Kappa
find a cure for Alzheimer’s. Meet the sorority women and the Campus Cooks staff and
learn how their contribution to the community benefit those in need.
Campus Cooks is a fraternity and sorority kitchen Management Company that helps
men and women meet goals and reach excellence as a Greek organization. Operating
since 1995, they are the experts in serving the ultimate Greek experience.
• Pitch to Chicago Tribune:
A local Chicagoland company seeks to enhance sorority and fraternity life, beginning
with a something everyone needs and loves: food.
Campus Cooks is a fraternity and sorority food & kitchen management company locally
based in Prospect Heights, with accounts spanning coast-to-coast. The leader in the
sorority and fraternity food industry, was recently featured in an article highlighting a
private chef at an LSU sorority. As opposed to hiring a private chef, Campus Cooks does
it for you. They take over the hiring, training, payroll, taxes, health, proper cooking
procedures, and remodeling that college students do not have the time for. At the head
of the company, Bill Reeder, seeks to completely enhance the Greek experience in this
way, a sought after objective due to continuous bad press of the Greek community.
