The Chrisoula K was a 3,720 ton cargo ship built in Germany in 1954 that wrecked on Sha'ab Abu Nuhas Reef off the coast of Saudi Arabia in 1981 while sailing from Italy to Jeddah with a cargo of granite tiles. It remains intact on the reef today and is a popular wreck diving site. Divers can explore various areas of the wreck including the weather deck, propeller, cargo holds, and engine room over a 15-20 minute Zodiac ride and 8-10 minute swim from the shore. Safety precautions are outlined for diving the site.
