This document provides guidance on revising search questions to find more relevant results. It discusses searches being too broad or too narrow. For searches that are too broad and return long lists of articles, it recommends narrowing the search topic by identifying its main aspects and combining keywords. For searches that are too narrow and return few results, it suggests broadening the search by looking at individual parts of the topic in isolation or more general topics on the subject in order to learn more and develop new research directions. The document also provides templates for developing good search topics and advises beginning researchers to use existing research to add to current understanding rather than simply restating others' work.

This tutorial provides an overview of different resources available at the UST Libraries for research, including databases by subject, UST OneSearch, reference resources, and Google Scholar. It explains that databases by subject and research guides can help identify relevant databases for a topic. UST OneSearch searches books, articles, and other materials. Reference resources like academic encyclopedias and companions can direct users to additional sources. Google Scholar also searches scholarly articles and can find related materials through citation links.
This presentation reviews the strengths of the MLA International Bibliography and JSTOR as research resources for literature, including their subject coverage and search features. It demonstrates how to search the MLA Bibliography by author name or subject to find relevant articles and materials, and how to narrow results using limits. The presentation also provides guidance on conducting advanced searches in JSTOR by item type and keywords to locate journal articles within a specific discipline.
This tutorial provides tips for improving database search techniques, including:
1. Using limiters to narrow results by criteria like date, subject, or resource type. For example, limiting to peer-reviewed journals.
2. Entering terms with "AND" to find results containing both terms, like "viruses AND computers".
3. Entering alternative terms with "OR" to broaden results, like searching for "(fruits OR vegetables) AND (orchards OR farms)".
This document advertises research help available from UST Libraries information literacy librarians, who are available 7 days a week by phone, email, chat, text, and Twitter to assist students having trouble with research or those wanting to learn more about resources and search techniques. It directs students in need of assistance to the Ask Us page at http://askus.stthom.edu to find contact details and access an answer database and tutorials.

This tutorial teaches users how to find articles from a PubMed search that are recommended in Faculty of 1000. It instructs users to copy their PubMed search string, paste it into the F1000 search box after selecting the PubMed database, and then click "View only Recommended Articles" to see which of their PubMed results are recommended in F1000 and have reviews. The tutorial also notes that recommended articles in F1000 will have a button to access full text resources.
This document provides an overview of searching the Paleobiology Database, an online resource for analyzing the fossil record. It demonstrates how to search by common name or scientific name, view information on trilobites or time intervals, and see maps and images of fossils. The tutorial explains the different search options and tools available to browse the database.
The document is a tutorial on using the ERIC Thesaurus. It aims to teach the reader about: 1) what the ERIC Thesaurus is, which is a list of subject terms that describe ERIC article topics; 2) how to get Thesaurus terms from search results by checking relevant subject terms; 3) how to browse the Thesaurus by searching for topics and viewing related terms; and 4) where to get library help at the askus.stthom.edu website.

The tutorial covers understanding the CINAHL search page, MeSH terminology for indexing articles, reading article records, tools on EBSCOhost like RefWorks, and getting help from the library.
This document provides an overview of searching PubMed, including:

II. MeSH terms standardize topics across articles and help retrieve related articles that use different terminology for the same concept.
III. Searching PubMed involves using keywords that are matched to MeSH terms, and filters can then focus results; searching for a term as a "MeSH Major Topic" limits to articles where it is a primary topic.
IV. Full text of articles can be accessed through setting preferences in a NCBI account, using the UST OneSearch database which includes Pub

How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
