Truly some great enemy of mankind might have said that chocolates cause a lot of harm
to the human body.Well,good news for chocolate lovers,and this time we have plenty of
chocolates to stuff their (as well as our)mouths with! Researchers at University of South
Australia, University of Maine and the Luxembourg Institute of Health carried out Visual-
Spatial Memory and Organization, Working Memory, Scanning and Tracking, Abstract
Reasoning, and the Mini-Mental State Examination on people and discovered that
people who ate chocolates performed better! They found out that chocolate ‘protects
against normal age-related cognitive decline’.
Chocolates are good for memory as it reduces memory decline,as said by scientists
from the Harvard Medical School.
Chocolates are good for the skin as it contains Flavonoids which protect the skin from
UV rays.
Chocolates prevent cough as it contains a chemical component,Theobromine which
decreases the activity of the vagus nerve, a part of the brain which deals with coughing.
Chocolates also reduce a lot of stress by decreasing it's physiological effects and also
chocolates decrease the risk of stroke in a human body.
So never feel guilty chocolate people! Go on munching more and more into chocolates
and eat a chocolate on this occasion too!
