Why is this still a thing?
● societal stereotypes and biases
● historical gender imbalances in education and
career paths
● workplace culture that is not inclusive/supportive
● systemic barriers in hiring and promotion
processes
What can you do?
Be the representation that you want to see. Like Barack Obama
famously said, “we are the change we seek”. If you want to see
more representation, you must actively participate as a player.
Change is not handed to you, you must take it, seize it and run with
it!
How can we do it?
1. Develop Confidence!
2. Build & Leverage Networks
3. Leverage Affirmative Action Opportunities
4. Get Involved In Leadership & Management
5. Embrace Tech Entrepreneurship
6. Continuously Advocate for Women On All
Levels.
