Children in rural Jharkhand face many hardships like poverty, lack of access to education and sanitation, child labor, and abuse. To address these issues, CRY America partnered with SATHEE to establish Children's Parliaments (Bal Sansads) where kids could voice their concerns and work for change. Over 500 Bal Sansads were formed across multiple districts. Through these groups, children advocated for schools, healthcare, irrigation, and an end to child labor. As a result, many villages now have functioning schools and community centers, better access to food and farming resources, and children empowered to stand up for their rights. CRY America continues supporting these children's groups through funding, networking, training
